oh, I've been dead busy.
Start forgetting about the philippine trip, but I checked some video clips from the trip last night with my family and finally put it on youtube. Now I can share it with ya!
While staying in Mindanao Island, we visited our friend's hometown which is called "Surallah."
The city is about 4-5 hours away from Davao city by car. For Koto, it was a tough ride.
The road to get there was pretty bumpy and it was a nightmare once she started crying.
We left Davao around 6pm and got to Surallah around 11pm.
On that night, we decided to stay at a motel but what we heard was...
local bands blasting Bon Jovi AGAIN until 2 am...
Think about your neighbor next door playing Bon Jovi songs all night. Great ?
I do not think so.
Anyway, we headed to the places like Lake Cebu and 7 falls and had one of my most exciting rides in my life: Zipline.
Here is what it's like.
昨晩、久しぶりにフィリピン旅行で恐らく一番楽しかったZipline（日本だと公園とかにたまーにあるやつ）の映像です。これね、本当におもしろかった。
距離が長いのよ。ダバオからはとても遠いSouth Cotabatoというところにあるのです。
現地にたどり着くまでが長くて大変だった。（車で４〜５時間）
小都はもちろん泣き叫び。
現地で泊まったホテルがまたすごい。表にステージがあり、ローカルバンドのボンジョヴィ大会！夜中の２時までボンジョヴィ大会！
すごかったぜ！
ちなみにSouth Cotabatoはガイドブックを読むと、一応前に述べたようにテロ危険区域に入っている様子で、友達が連れて行ってくれなかったらまず行かないであろう土地でした。
だから、道の途中で検問所がたくさんあったのだな。
Ziplineのある場所の近くにLake Cebuという湖があって、その湖畔のレストランで食べた魚（名前わすれた）は結構おいしかった。

I went to this bar called MOJO(http://www.mojo-m.com/) in Tokorozawa city to see musicians: Miwa Jiro (http://miwajiro.com/)and Uzumibi(http://uzumibi.jp/).
I had no idea what kind of musicians they were but my friend from chichibu said "you'll love them." so I trusted him.
You know what? They were AMAZING! I hadn't been to much shows since I got a baby and have been feeling like out of it but last night was definitely awesome.
you better check them out!
きのうの夜は秩父の友達に誘われて所沢のmojoというbar（カフェ？）に行った。
三輪二郎と埋火というアーティストのライブ。
僕はどちらも全く、本当に全く知らなかったので「どんなだろうな〜」と思っていたのだが
「多分気に入るよ」と言われたので行ってみた。
久しぶりにタバコの煙でモクモクの場所に行った。
昔はなんとも思わなかったのに、今はタバコがちょっとキツい。特に子どもできてから。
会場に早く着き過ぎて、演奏まですごく待った。お酒を飲みたくなったが、今夜はどうしても車で銭湯に行きたかったので我慢していた。最初に三輪二郎。いい。うちの弟も好きだと思うな。最初はぼけーっと聴いていたが、徐々に深いところに引き込まれていった。アルコール入っていたら完全に一番前で踊っていたな。次、埋火（うずみび）。漢字がはずかしながら読めず、うもれび？！（失礼。。）なんて読んでいた。これまた、いい。
もう我慢できずにアルコールも買ってしまいました。本当に何年かぶりに楽しく踊れた。
最初は金が最近厳しいので入場料３０００円か、アメリカで＄３０ドルのライブっつったらすごいな。なんてシビアに考えていたのであるが、今日のライブは「財布すっからかんになってもいいやぃ」って思えました。思えたとともに財布、本当にすっからかんになりました。（嫁よ、このブログ見ないでね） それにしてもウィスキーを調子に乗って飲んでいたら、帰りノックアウト寸前。途中でジャブジャブ入ってたいへーん。

After leaving Manila, we headed to Mindanao island to visit our friends in Davao city.
This island is pretty unique in terms of its religious back ground.
The main religion in the philippines is Catholic but Mindanao has separatist Muslim groups such as MILF(Moro Islamic Liberation Front) .
It seems that they still have acts of terrorism and I hoped nothing wrong would happen.
It's time for Christmas and everyone must be happy, right ?
Oh wait CHRISTMAS.
Don't worry. We had a peaceful christmas with some guys shouting U2 and Bon Jovi songs with Karaoke machine till 3 am.
Koto was shouting too because of the beautiful noise. With tears.
What a silent night. Holy Karaoke night.

So still talking about the philippine trip.
First of all, we were so lucky that could get free flight tickets and surprisingly the seats from Narita to Manila were business class! Free alcohol! I got some whisky and got drank. Oh well...
Arrival time to Manila was past 11pm and we found out that all the banks at the airport were closed and
ATM didn't accept my credit card. That means I couldn't call our hotel to have their shuttle bus service.
But this security guy helped me to call the hotel and everything went okay (even though he begged money persistently)
The Hotel we stayed at was Manila Airport Hotel which was just several minutes away (on foot) from the terminal 1 . We didn't even think of this close the hotel was located and if we knew it, we might not have the shuttle bus but late arrival flight and for the sake of Koto we chose the safe way.
The price for this hotel (including breakfast and free shuttle bus) for 1 night stay was about $60.
You may think it's expensive but for the first time philippine travelers with a baby, it was a good deal.
(Hotel is right next to KFC, grocery and money exchange, and a good chinese restaurant. )

今回なぜにフィリピン旅行に踏み切ったかというと、マイルが夫婦で結構貯まっていて
（みなさん、独身時代に海外旅行いっぱいしてマイル貯めると良いぞ）なんと大人２人分は
タダで行けることが判明（税金は払うけど、燃油サーチャージもなし）。し、か、も、行きはビジネスクラス。調子に乗ってウィスキー飲んだら酔っぱらったが、水もたっぷりすぐに持ってきてくれるのよ。
そんなこんなでマニラに着いたのが夜の１１時頃。いざ、両替！と思ったら、なんとmoney exchangeすべて閉まっている。。ATM発見。クレジット挿入。受け入れず！
焦った。現地の金がなーい。しかし、なんとかセキュリティーのおっさんの携帯を借りて
ホテルにシャトルバスで来てもらうことに成功。よかった。
単身旅行だったらなんとでもなるけど、小さい子ども（１歳３ヶ月）連れは何かと焦る。
でも、このホテル、空港（ターミナル１）と目と鼻の先です。昼間だったら余裕で歩いて行ける。でも初めての国、夜。ときたら安全第一。

今後，このホテル泊まる人もいるかもしれないので情報を書いておくと、
ターミナル１に着いたら玄関を出て目の前のタクシーとかが走っている道路を右の方に１〜２分歩くとHotel Loungeというホテルのシャトルバス待合室みたいなのがあるのです。
そこの兄ちゃんに電話してと言えば、すぐにタダで電話してシャトルバス呼んでくれます。
このことを知っていれば、あんまり心配しなくてもすんだのに、ネット上にそんなこと
どこにも書いてなーい。昼間だったら、上にも書いたように、玄関でて右側にずっと歩いていけば、危険度も少なく、徒歩でもバックパッカーなら余裕で(多分１０分以内で）行ける距離だと思います。
ホテルの横には２４時間オープンの雑貨屋兼両替所もあるので、水も買えるは金も替えられるはで便利です。
とにかく、初日のホテルに着くまでがこの旅一番の心配事だったので、無事にホテルに着いて一安心。１２月２４日、クリスマスイヴはマニラでした。

I know some of you have no idea what I have been talking about on this blog because it's mostly in Japanese. Do not worry anymore. I will try my best to achieve my resolution.
So as the title says, me, yuma (my wife), and koto(our daughter) visited our friends living in Davao, Philippines. For a week, we had such a wonderful time even though we had some sleepless nights with loud Karaoke or Videoke sounds from our neighbors.
I'm going to talk about this trip little by little.
フィリピンの友達のところへ遊びに行ってきました。
フィリピンよ、気に入った。
やっぱり僕は南国が好きだ。
南国なら接客業とかばりばりできる気がする。
とにかく珍道中だったので徐々にblogにアップします。
そして新年、みんなが笑顔になれますように。
今年は勉強がんばっちゃうぞ。
